“Allston’s ORCA ORCA dropped two new singles as part of the Remnants EP in anticipation for their gig tonight with Denver’s Tennis and Wild Belle at T.T. The Bear’s Place in Cambridge, and it’s another solid lo-fi post-punk effort from the songwriting mind of Jimmy Hewitt. While b-side “Swan Song” has been described by the blogs as some sort of baby-making music, we opted to go with lead track “South Carolina,” which really spotlights Hewitt’s dream-pop acumen.” -M.Marotta
